Iman Ali is a global public health leader committed to advancing health equity through data, collaboration, and systems-level change. As Senior Fellow Lead, she will support the design and growth of the AFHE senior fellow community, strengthening cohort engagement and helping design opportunities for meaningful connection, learning, and collective impact.

Her work focuses on data-driven, multi-country approaches to inform more equitable health systems. At the CDC Foundation, she contributed to global mortality analyses that informed immunization strategies across more than 40 countries. She has partnered with organizations including the World Health Organization and the Gates Foundation to support shared learning, strategic coordination, and global health planning.

Iman works at the intersection of research, practice, and partnership, facilitating convenings, managing international collaborations, and translating complex evidence into actionable insight. She has held roles at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Pathfinder International, and her doctoral research examined the mental health impacts of conflict on diaspora communities. She is near completion of her DrPH at Mercer University and holds an MPH from Boston University.
