Chiropractic Workforce

The Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC) is interested in learning more about chiropractic practitioners’ experiences to address important knowledge gaps regarding career pathways, practice experiences, and chiropractic practitioners’ well-being in the United States. We will conduct focus groups with key stakeholders, including, but not limited to, chiropractic educators, employers, trainees, and chiropractic practitioners.

Focus group topics will include:

• Chiropractic training and career pathways
• Chiropractic job market, well-being (satisfaction, burnout, etc.)
• Emerging issues affecting the chiropractic field

We will also design and administer a survey to chiropractic practitioners focusing on:

• Career pathways
• Training experiences
• Job/practice search experiences
• Practice characteristics (salary, practice setting, benefits, etc.)
• Well-being (satisfaction, burnout, etc.)
• Perspectives on emerging issues identified in the focus groups
