Katie Webster (she/her) joined Social Mission Alliance as an Institute Associate at the beginning of 2023. She received a Master of Science in Design and Innovation from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, following an undergraduate degree in psychology and computer science. During this time, she learned about a broad range of topics including computer programming, 3D printing, behavioral psychology, prototyping, and design thinking. Following graduation, she worked as an Accessible Science Communications Assistant with UW-Madison Division of Extension by improving digital accessibility, helping with plain language science communication, and ensuring brand adherence for multiple programs. Katie is passionate about using her skills to work on improving the experience in the healthcare system and increasing access to existing resources.​
